VACAVILLE - They are arrangements that look good enough to eat.

Actually, Edible Arrangements owner Margaret Buckner would be greatly disappointed if you didn't do that.

Buckner learned about Edible Arrangements and its fruit arrangement creations two years ago when she needed to find a nice gift quickly for a party.

She spotted one of the stores in the San Francisco Bay Area and less than an hour after she told an employee what her friend liked, she had a fruit arrangement she described as 'pretty awesome.'

'I told my husband that I like this product so much that I would like to have one in the Nut Tree,' Buckner said.

After retiring from her job at UC Davis, she did precisely that by signing a franchise agreement with Edible Arrangements and opening her store Jan. 28.
