Michael Ammann, president of the Solano Economic Development Corp., will serve on the Bay Area Council Economic Institute's advisory board, which will help create a proposal for federal stimulus funds.

'These are critical times for Solano County and the Bay Area,' Ammann stated in a press release. 'We are competing against other states for this funding and it is important we present a uniform plan to increase our chances for funding.'
