Cheers to Solano officials for their continued lobbying efforts in Washington D.C. They have been very successful during the past half-dozen years bringing federal dollars to the county for transportation projects and improvements at Travis Air Force Base.
Representatives from Fairfield, Vacaville, Vallejo, Rio Vista, Solano EDC, and the Solano Transportation Authority were united in their message to congressional representative this past week, seeking $13 million in federal earmarks.
