Manufacturers, distributors and suppliers will converge Tuesday in Fairfield to learn strategies for success in a recession, a Solano County economic development firm announced.

The manufacturing summit will run from 7:15 to 10:45 a.m. at Fairfield's Hilton Garden Inn. The $20 fee includes breakfast.

Presented by the Corporation for Manufacturing Excellence, the event is sponsored by Solano Economic Development Corporation, the city of Fairfield, UCLA Anderson School of Management, Moss Adams LLP and US Capital.
