RIO VISTA - Crossing the Cache Slough on the Real McCoy ferry from Rio Vista to Ryer Island is nothing new for the Hamilton Brothers.

The three brothers, sheep ranchers ranging in age from 78 to 83 years old, bring their flock over to Ryer Island to feed on the alfalfa in the fall and then back to the Montezuma Hills when it greens up.

In total, they'll bring 2,200 sheep across the slough on the ferry over a span of a few days.
