Restaurant chain plans two Vacaville locations

Coming soon to Vacaville is a Sonic, America's Drive-In. A sign hanging on a vacant commercial building with a vehicle drive-through in the 100 block of Bella Vista Drive at Davis Street North marks the location where the restaurant is hoping to locate. City staffers say that the Sonic company has applied for two locations in Vacaville. The other, a vacant lot on East Monte Vista, across from Lowe's, is waiting for building permits to be submitted to the city. The Vacaville Planning Commission will consider the application for the Davis Street Sonic soon, the matter is tentatively set for the Sept. 15 meeting.
